Classmethod Establishes New Office in Malaysia as Its Sixth Overseas Location— Leveraging Extensive Expertise to Support AWS Adoption and AI Initiatives in High‑Growth Markets —

Classmethod, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Satoshi Yokota) has established a new wholly owned subsidiary, Classmethod Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to strengthen its technical support structure centered on cloud computing and generative AI.

Through its Malaysia office, Classmethod will further enhance technical support for local companies as well as Japanese companies expanding overseas, contributing to business growth across the ASEAN region.

Through this local subsidiary, Classmethod Malaysia will provide Malaysian companies and local subsidiaries of Japanese enterprises with services including adoption, operational support, and consulting for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and generative AI solutions.

Background on Establishing the Malaysia Office

Classmethod is an AWS Premier Tier Partner with numerous awards, including the AWS Global Award “SI Partner of the Year – GLOBAL.” To date, the company has established local subsidiaries in Canada, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea. With the establishment of this new subsidiary in Malaysia as its sixth overseas group location, Classmethod will further promote its global business by providing AWS and generative AI implementation, operational support, and consulting services.

In recent years, across ASEAN markets including Malaysia, demand has been growing for operational efficiency and more advanced decision-making through the use of cloud computing and AI. At the same time, Japanese companies expanding overseas have increasingly requested stronger local IT structures and improved governance frameworks.

Through the establishment of this local subsidiary, Classmethod will accelerate support for operational efficiency and value creation through cloud and AI for companies across the ASEAN region, while also strengthening its role as a trusted technology partner for Japanese companies seeking overseas expansion and local business growth.

The Malaysia office will serve as a regional technology service hub for ASEAN, actively expanding its services to surrounding regions, including Singapore.
